Huddersfield Town have reported a pre-tax loss of £22.4m for the 2024-25 season, a significant drop in revenue from £18.16m to £10.63m. The club finished 10th in League One last season, their first campaign back in the third tier after being relegated from the Championship. American businessman Kevin Nagle took over the West Yorkshire side in the summer of 2023. In the time since, Town, who had two seasons in the Premier League between 2017 and 2019, have had six different managers and dropped down to League One for the first time since 2012. They are three points off the play-offs with five matches to play. The club's revenue drop has led to a significant decrease in wages, with the amount spent on wages going from £23m to £16.9m. This still reflects wages being 159% of the club's revenue.
