Huddersfield Town have appointed Alan Knill as their new assistant head coach, while Radinio Balker has agreed a contract extension until 2028.

Huddersfield Town Appoint New Assistant Head Coach

Huddersfield Town have appointed former Sheffield United coach Alan Knill as their assistant head coach. The 61-year-old left Bramall Lane earlier this summer after three spells with the club alongside Chris Wilder.

"Alan's understanding of the game at all levels and the ability to help develop players of all ages was of huge interest for me," boss Martin Drury told the club website.

Huddersfield Town are looking to build on their recent form, which has seen them score 74 goals and concede 64 this season. They currently sit 9th in League One, 36 points behind leaders Lincoln.

Key signings

Radinio Balker has agreed a contract extension with Huddersfield Town until 2028. The 27-year-old Suriname international signed a three-and-a-half-year agreement when he joined Huddersfield from Dutch club FC Groningen in January 2024.
